Dear friends,

It’s a joy to up-date you with another poem/message.

We are virtually snowed-in in North Belfast this morning. However, the sun is shining. There is the beginnings of a thaw. Aslan must be on the move! Happy Easter.

Holidays end!

Christmas over.

Easter ended.

And now the Summertime blues…

Roll these all into one

And you’ve begun to guess

What it’s like to be depressed.

  1. Arlene and I recently had dinner twice at Ward and Marda’s house in Berkeley, California. So we heard encouraging news of you and your poetry. You should be receiving something in the mail, however long the post takes to get from here to there.

    • Hi! Larry, thank you for the two books by Wendell Berry. I haven’t had a chance to read them yet but really looking forward to doing so. ‘What are people for’? makes me think of our Lord’s parable about being a good neighbour. Thanks again for your generosity and kindness. Keep in touch, love Bill.
